Episode 51
Kingdom Philanthropy | Anthony Farr
I met Anthony on the back of a donkey in the Egyptian desert, and after a while, it twigged that we’d been tennis partners at prep school! His journey out of business in the City of London back to his native South Africa is riveting. There he pioneered a significant charity called Starfish which impacted many thousands of AIDS orphans, and that subsequently led him to working for Allan Gray (South Africa’s equivalent of Warren Buffett), with the aim of identifying, mentoring and releasing a new generation of ethical entrepreneurs to positively impact society.
